2 minutes of Topanga ambience
by Jackie Radinsky
During the pandemic there were a couple trails frequented in Topanga Canyon which truly saved me and provided a steady grounding, away from the chaos pouring out of the Devices. At the same time I was becoming more and more obsessed with Japanese ambient - especially the works of Takashi Kokubo and Hiroshi Yoshimura.
This short film, shot in one day throughout the Canyon, was a purely meditative practice, and something I can now come back to whenever I wish to reconnect with those feelings.
